Up for sale is this Gould Century 1.5HP Electric Motor. It is in good condition, with some signs of age. The output shaft still spins with relative ease, and continues for a few rotations with a good flick of the wrist. Its key has been duct-taped into the keyway to prevent loss. Most Gould motors seem to have some association with pool pumps, but having an open keyway on the output shaft leads me to believe that this was just an "any purpose" motor.
