This post features the Goulds WE1012H submersible effluent pump and a mercury-activated float switch (part number 15SSD2WP) sold as a set. We have four sets on hand, but this bid is only for one. These items are new but have been in storage for many years, resulting in weathered and dusty packaging. Our team opened the boxes to test the pumps and ensure proper operation. The WE1012H pump has impressive specifications, including 230V, 60Hz, 1 phase, 1HP, 3450 RPM, 140GPM, and approximately 72 lbs. The internal motor is fully submerged in high-grade turbine oil for lubrication and efficient heat transfer. It has class B insulation, capacitor start motors for maximum starting torque, and class 10 overload protection. The WE1012H pump is designed for continuous operation and has upper and lower heavy duty ball bearing construction. The severe duty rated power cable is oil and water-resistant and has SJOW or STOW severe duty oil and water-resistant cords with bare lead cord ends. The pump has an O-ring that assures positive sealing against contaminants and oil leakage. Some notable features of the WE1012H pump include a cast iron, semi-open, non-clog impeller with pump-out vanes for mechanical seal protection. The pump also has a cast iron volute type casing for maximum efficiency and a 2" NPT discharge. Additionally, it has a silicon carbide vs. silicon carbide mechanical seal with stainless steel metal parts and BUNA-N elastomers. The shaft is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and has a threaded design. The WE1012H pump can handle solids up to 3/4", discharge size of 2" NPT, and total heads up to 128 feet TDH. It has a built-in overload with automatic reset and can be operated continuously with no damage when fully submerged. The float switch (part number 15SSD2WP) is mercury-activated and has a wide-angle design that controls pumps up to 1HP at 120 VAC and 2 HP at 230 VAC in non-potable water and sewage applications. This switch is not sensitive to rotation or turbulence and includes a patented tumbler assembly that gives a positive pump on or pump off.
