Graco Pro 3500 SC Brand New Never Used 85kv Electrostatic Spray Gun / System Used for spray application of liquid solvent based paints The spray gun is BRAND NEW as the pictures show. This is a complete electrostatic spray system! All you need to do is supply the clean, dry compressed air and the paint. If you have never used electrostatic equipment then you WILL also need to learn how to use it. This system is comprised of the following components: 1 - Brand new Graco Pro3500SC spray gun - BRAND NEW 1 - Brand new 2-1/2 quart remote paint tank 1 - Brand new 78"-80"paint hose 1 - Brand new 78"-80" static grounded air hoe w/left hand fitting for gun 1 - 25' length ground wire (crimped to the end of the 78"-80"air hose) NOTE: A 50' static grounded air hose is available as an option. Use of a grounded air supply hose alleviates the need for the 25' ground wire at the paint tank which must be attached to earth ground. The optional 50' grounded air hose has standard 1/4" female ball seat swivel connections and a 25' ground wire at one end. The 25' ground wire MUST be attached to a known good earth ground. If you are interested in this option for this system please contact me. ***** PLEASE READ ***** I am NOT a liquidator, all the electrostatic guns that I sell in systems have been fully tested with Graco factory test equipment in my facility. I do NOT use the word "fine" to describe the function of the electrostatics. What does "fine" mean when you do not have the ability and the proper equipment to test the spray gun to know how it is performing. Beware of buying one of these guns from anyone that cannot test them with the appropriate equipment. An 85kv gun that is only putting out 34-40 kv is only performing at 50% of what it should and it's electrostatic effect with the coating is also going to be less than what it should. Keep this in mind when you are looking at other Graco electrostatic spray guns being offered ANYWHERE. THIS IS NOT AN AIRLESS SPRAY GUN I personally use both 4500SC and 3500SC spray guns for refinishing turbine helicopters. I have been using the same two guns for the past thirteen years, neither gun has needed ANY parts to be replaced and they both work and perform normally. We use these electrostatic spray guns to apply epoxy primers, 2k urethane primers, base coat colors, both solids and metallics and urethane clear coats. It is amazing to see how nice pale gold metallics lay out. The Graco tech reps that I have spoken with in the past have told me that that these cannot be used with metallic paints because it causes to metallic particles to "orient" themselves......so much for what they know. I have used the Pro3500 & 4500SC guns with many different paints and colors, both single stage and base coat/clear coat two stage paints having metallic particles and I can say from experience that the metallic lays out or should I say "orients" itself very nicely and uniformly, much better than with ANY HVLP, DeVilbiss or Binks spray guns that I have used over the past 33 years custom painting helicopters, airplanes, yachts, motor coaches, hot rods, antique, late model & exotic automobiles. Anybody that thinks HVLP can give you similar transfer rates is simply clueless or delusional, HVLP does not come anywhere close...........unless you have no idea what you are doing with electrostatic equipment and it is being used incorrectly. These spray guns are amazing and have saved me a small fortune just in paint savings not to mention reduced labor cost due to less time required to apply the paint. Just to be able to spray large items like buses and helicopters and NOT have to watch a cloud of paint get drawn into the exhaust is very nice, specially when the base colors cost $600 per gallon. I sold two of these set ups to a guy in Arizona the other was a 4500sc. He told me that when he was using HVLP guns he went through 45-60 gallons of paint per week painting new wrought iron fences that he fabricates. With the electrostatic spray guns he now only uses 10 gallons of the same paint to paint the same number of fence sections that previously required 45-60 gallons per week. That’s just in less paint consumption; his labor to apply coatings is a fraction of what it was. You don’t have to be Einstein to figure how much $$ was going into the filters of his spray booth, it now goes into his pocket. Just to be conservative, 40 gallons of cheap acrylic enamel is going to cost you at least $60 per gallon. That’s $2400.00 bucks PER WEEK in savings $$$. So, you think these toys are expensive, well, they are, but if you are spraying substantial quantities of paint per week you can recover your money in a relatively short period of time……then, what $$ you don’t give to your paint supplier can go into your pocket. I have NEVER met a paint supplier that had anything good to say about electrostatic spray systems……..gee, I wonder why. Start reducing your paint usage by 40-70% and see how happy your paint supplier(s) are. Forget all that HVLP junk, if you want transfer efficiency and a high quality atomized spray then this is the way to go. I have always been a Binks Model 7 fan since getting into this industry back in the late 70’s but these Graco guns spray every bit as nice as any Binks or DeVilbiss gun I've ever used. These Graco electrostatic guns are the only spray guns that we use for painting anything requiring more than a 1/2 pint of paint. If you are painting objects like truck & car frames, bicycle or motorcycle frames, pipes, metal fencing and unusual shaped objects you can actually see the paint being drawn to and wrapping around the object being painted. You will be amazed how much less paint material it takes to apply a finish to metal objects with these guns. I have a lot of these guns in assorted models as well as Stainless paint tanks. If you need a system tailored to your specific application then contact so that I can make the appropriate recommendations. I make up these 2-1/2 Qt remote tank set ups. You can’t get a short Graco grounded air hose with that funky left hand thread fitting, SO I MAKE THEM, I machine that little left hand thread fitting that Graco will not sell and I use a very expensive crimping machine to fasten the fittings to the hose ends. I also test the grounding capacity of the air hose where it attaches to the gun back to the end of the ground wire. ALSO, anyone in need of an air hose that has the static ground wire built into it, similar to the Graco hose, I can make up any length and install the left hand thread air fitting for substantially LESS than what it will cost you from a Graco dealer, it will also have the 25' ground wire attached to the opposite end just like the OEM Graco hose. Keep looking on ebay most likely you will see me list one just to compete with the few that you see listed here. TRAINING IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE OF ANY OF THESE SYSTEMS. The 2-1/2Qt remote paint tank & hoses are brand new / never been used. The static ground air hose is brand new and are made up for each unit sold. I manufacture the Left hand threaded grounded air hose fitting that is required to connect the air to the spray gun and are tested for continuity. Both the grounded air hose and paint fluid hose are approximately 78-80" long I assemble each system as they are purchased and test the spray gun for spray pattern adjustment, quality of spray, air & fluid leaks and kv power output of the electrostatics.
