The table comes with an original heavy duty “Micro Flat” support frame with leveling screws, and weighs approximately 800-900 lbs. combined.  The height gauge and blocks are shown for prospective only, and are NOT included, but a protective wooden cover-top (as shown) is included.  This table would make a fine addition to any machine shop or manufacturing facility that might be limited to a tight budget.  This table has served me well for many uses such as: a inspection table, a layout table, and as a precision die and mold assembly table.  The (4) ledges provide for convenient clamping of fixtures, reference rails, angle plates, etc. Lay down a sheet of 600 wet / dry sandpaper, and you can have a precision lapping block to put a fine finish on precision parts, remove burrs, or just to lap them flat using a figure-eight motion.  It still has only the three small chips that it had when I bought it twenty-five years ago. They never impeded any of my inspection or assembly processes at all.  Being now retired, I just don’t need it much anymore, but I’m sure you’ll happily use it quite often. After viewing other granite plates, you’ll find this unique item to be quite a bargain and an asset to your processes.
