Graphotype Dog Tag Jaw Springs Having trouble getting your tags to stay in the jaws for all five lines? I own seven dog tag machines, and all have had their performance improved with this spring.  With slipping tags, the chances are very good that it is the jaw spring that is the problem. Even the best springs will eventually fail by either breaking or stretching. Hardware store springs fail the fastest, if you can find one that fits, because they are made from hard drawn steel wire, not stainless steel.  Hard drawn steel does not have the pulling strength and stretches out of shape quickly.  The spring that I am selling has been made by a spring maker to the specifications required for the Graphotype jaws. It is made from .047 thick stainless steel, the loops are .890" and parallel, the body  455", the od is .289.  They are sold in sets of two, so you can have a spare. This comes with a 30 day money back guarantee and may be returned for any reason. Please email first about the problem. Fits models 6100 series through 6400 series. If you have a different Graphotype model that this fits, please email me and I will add it to the description. The only way that I could afford to have the right springs for my Graphotype jaws was to have a spring maker make them for me. That makes the first spring so expensive, so I thought there might be enough Graphotype owners out there needing new springs.   Each purchase includes two springs.
