A Gretag Macbeth Eye-One I1 Spectrometer for accurate color management in excellent condition.  I purchased it new from what is known today as X-Rite for a project where color printing of the utmost accuracy and consistency was required.  It did its job quickly and with far more precision than required by all but the most discerning eye.  The box has sat for the last couple of years on the shelf and it is time to go off to some one who has a need for accurate color printing and profiling. The Eye-One spectrophotometer can also be used to calibrate CRTs and LCD screens.  I am not able to locate the original software disk and documentation, which is surprising as I'm a bit compulsive about that sort of thing. i1Match software can be downloaded from X-Rite. The Eye-One spectrometer works with all of the X-Rite profiling software that supports the i1 device; the i1 spectrometer acts as a dongle to enable the software. The box (and inner boxes) includes the following:      Eye-One Spectrophotometer, with cap and uv filter      Calibration stand with white reference spot      Suction-cup mount for CRT displays      Weight compensated strap mount for Flat Screen Displays      A frosted-plastic item that I don't know its use (see gallery)      USB cable Eye-One Photo is the color management system for photographers.  The Eye-One spectrometer, with its UV filter option, here continues to be the basis for X-Rite's calibration software tools.  It provides consisted and reliable color for monitors and printers.  What always appealed to me about the iMatch software is the simple ability to create a custom ICC profile for your printer that provides accurate on-screen and on-paper colors.  Oh, to have had that ability way back when.  Consistency between different printers was always so elusive. The Eye-One Photo system will be carefully packed and shipped in a USPS Priority box.  International shipping by eBay Global.
