I bought this jointer brand new about 5 years ago and used it make 3 coffee tables and a gun cabinet, since then it's just been sitting in my shop. I no longer make furniture, so I don't have a use for it anymore. I did remove the cutter guard because it just got in my way when I was using it, it is not necessary for operation, I used a push block to run pieces through for safety, the only thing wrong with it is a chipped out piece of plastic on the shavings ejections port, which doesn't affect use. I tested it and it still runs with no problems, so it should have a lot of life left. It's made from thick solid cast iron, so it feels sturdy and like it will last for a long time. I made a wood crate/box for shipping so it will ship safely. To keep the shipping cost at the minimum, I removed the wood stand I made, but if you are close to the Bluefield, VA/WV area and would like to pick it up, I can include the stand.
