Grommet Setting Die For Size# 6 Grommet - Industrial Grade

This is a hand setting die set for a size #6 spur grommet. The grommet is set by striking the top of the die with either a rawhide mallet, or a dead blow hammer. ( The mallet is preferred ) The grommet is placed on the die base with the flange up. The item for the grommet is placed over the flange, and the washer is placed with teeth facing down on top. Tap die and firmly seat the grommet. It may be necessary to use a 3/4" hole cutter punch depending on the item having the grommets installed. This is a used die with some age on it, but it sets grommets even and firm.
