Search Us: Description Haake GH w/ D8 Controller Heated Refrigerated 5L Recirculating Water Bath Used but very clean and in great mechanical and cosmetic condition. This unit handled our tests competently. Cooling was fast and effortless, running our glycol mix from 26°C to 0° in about 20 minutes and then from 0° to -10°C in 48 minutes. It maintained -10° for 2 hours without issue and even ran to -16° before our mix starting icing up. We then ran it with water to 90°C and let it run for 3 hours, again without issue. All buttons function as expected, as did the overheat and low water safety trips. The built in temp guage, however, is inconsistent. While the unit was able to keep stable temps, the temp indicator fluctuates, bouncing around the actual temp +/- about 5°. We were also only occasionally able to get the Set Temp to show in the display, even though adjusting the dial did work to effect desired temp changes. These issues are reflected in the discounted price. Lid and power cord included. Some minor scuffs consistent with clinical use but for the most part, this machine is in excellent condition. Standard pallets will incur a minimum $40 charge. Additional charges for crating or over-sized palletizing will vary. International customers must arrange their own freight service. Shipping Damages: If item arrives damaged by the carrier, please reject shipment and contact us immediately.
