HAEMONETICS 115 Cell Washing System Auto Transfusion System 6640-01-303-0255 NSN 6640-01-303-0255 PN 8818-G3-W-PROVISIONING Item is being sold as used . UNTESTED. Some scuffing and sticker residue. Could use a good dusting from sitting. SOLD AS IS  Ruggedized for temperature range of -40 degrees Centigrade to + 75 degrees Centigrade, and may be stored in those conditions, as long as fluids are drained. This unit is a continuous gravity flow blood cell washing system. It is for washing previously frozen red blood cells. This process is sometimes called deglycerolization, usually by a sequential dilution protocol. After thawing, the red cells are first diluted with 12% sodium chloride then twice with 0.9% sodium chloride- 0.2 % glucose, using the mixing platform for adequate mixing. Features: wired for 115/ 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, so may be used anywhere in the world under most any conditions. occupies a minimum of floor space, 2 1/2 sq. ft. designed for heavy clinical service, not sensitive to climate extremes centrifuge on/off button centrifuge spins at about 5800 rpm built-in mixing tray, which supports unit of blood to be washed mixer control buttons, oscillates at about 180 cycles per minute minute timer 0 - 30 minutes built in IV pole uses disposable centrifuge and tubing, with both operator and service manuals.
