Don't let the 60 watt power fool you. This iron is a race horse. It gets up to 1100 degrees F and stays there. This is my personal iron of choice for all my stained glass projects lead and foil. I even use a pair of these irons for soldering rebars. This is the top-of-the-line soldering iron. It's a light weight, well balanced iron does the work of much heavier irons and has no trouble idling at 1000F. Solder copper foil for hours without the temperature loss problem some irons have. It has a unique porcelain core that helps this iron to maintain heat better than most irons. This iron is hot. Most people prefer to use a rheostat with this Hakko since it gets hot enough to slag lead came. 60 Watt with a 3\/16" Chisel Tip. **DOES NOT COME WITH A PLUG** Orders are generally shipped within two days of payment.
