Leakage Warning When the gas leakage are discovered, "di di" sound will become more hurried. More refrigerant freon leak, more rapid. Meanwhile the indicator light flash quickly. The detector will beep regularly at a slow frequency when turn it on. If leak detected, it will beep in a higher frequency. (2 beeps per second when the detector is open, 10 beeps per second when detect the leak Notes: Wait for 6 seconds away from the potential leakage area once the leak detector is switched on for more accurate detection or it may not give the right alarm when you try to detect. When detecting, the probe should be moved around the location at a rate no more than 1-2in/second and no more than 1/4in from the surface. Slower and closer movement of the detector will greatly improve the likelihood of finding a leak. The sensor tip should not be contaminated. False positives are bound to happen as dust, air, and other contaminants can set it off. In a windy area, even a large leak is difficult to be found. Under this condition, it is better to shield the potential leak area. The siren is structured so that only constant flow will set the tone off to determine a leak. This means that while the alarm may sound, it will only reach the high-pitch siren when the system has detected a consistent flow of Freon. Jut be warned, that this siren can get pretty loud.
