There is a retractable stabilizer bar that flips out from underneath and protects you from accidentally pushing the mixer over backwards, a great safety feature. Sits on 4 rubber legs with 2 suction cups underneath to grip the surface and stabilize the entire mixer. The 3 separate speeds let you break down the ice cream slowly then gradually increase speed to get to the desired consistency. The added toggle switch lets you control the final mixing process to get the exact consistency desired.
