Hand water pump for backpack fire extinguishers Product description The pump casing has protective coating (both inside and outside). The rod of the hand pump is made of brass coated with chrome nickel. The cushion and shutoff springs are made of stainless steel. The casing wear rings, cups and shut-down valve of the hand pump are made of Elastollan (thermoplastic polyurethane brand). Per request of the Client, the hand pump may be supplied with a lateral or straight handle. Specifications: This is a hand pump of double action (the liquid is ejected both when the rod is extended from the casing and when it is retracted). The rod extension from the casing triggers exhaustion in the latter, and the liquid from the bag goes through the open valve to the cylinder. The reverse movement of the piston causes ejection of the liquid in a volume equal to the difference between the rod and rod-free volumes of the cylinder cavities. The residual liquid is exhausted when the piston moves in the opposite direction. So, each movement of the piston – to and fro – triggers a liquid exhaust.
