I'm a 40 Year Appliance Technician, and I'll Share What I've Learned With You - FREE! Click here       Not long ago I found just a few of these nice little meters at a terrific price, and they're super handy, especially for appliance repair work. They ship with test leads and instructions - even the 9V battery's included, already installed. Just unbox, turn it on, and go!   Reads AC voltage up to 750V, DC to 1000V, amperage to 10A, resistance to 2 megohms, and does diode and transistor tests. Measures approx. 2-3/4" x 5" x 1" thick.   The reason meters like this are so inexpensive is speed. From the testing I've done with them here in the shop, they're very accurate, just not as fast as a $100+ Pro version. But for simple appliance testing, who cares?! When I started back in 1972, I carried a tiny $4 analog (needle) type meter every day, and it served me well for many years. There's just no need to spend a lot of money on a meter to use on your appliances and other tests around the house.
