This listing is for one (1) Hard Start Kit which boost starting torque by up to 500%. Saves on utility bill, can possibly save a worn compressor and are a must for expansion valve AC units and reciprocating (piston) compressors which make it harder for the compressor to start. Also useful on scroll compressors. Extends the life of any compressor and saves on your electric bill by adding a stored electrical boost to the compressor which can start up to 100,000 times in a single season. These items are brand new and are for use on permanent split capacitor single phase AC and heat pump systems, 115 thru 288V, 1/2 - 10hp, 4000 thru 120,000 btu (1/3 to 10 ton).  Just connect the two wires to the run capacitor. One to the common (C) and one to the hermetic (H) or in series on a single pole capacitor (one wire to each side). Includes mounting clip and screw hole for easy installation. Same as Supco SPP6, Mars 32702, Gemline HS650 and Watsco WSX6, but at about half the cost.  Made by Venti Air Products Corp. Sell for about 15.00 - 20.00 each plus tax at a HVAC supply store. Recently installed one of these on a compressor that would not start, compressor started immediately after adding this hard start kit. If system is tripping the breaker, usually means windings in compressor are shorted and a hard start kit will not help.
