Due to shifting priorities (Spring is coming and a particular motorcycle is available for a short time), I have decided to cancel my plans to "optimize" the selling price for this HLV-H. In other words, you add the glossy paint, save thousands and I get my motorcycle. The wort's. The tool post slide needs to be replaced in my opinion, see picture. It obviously functioned, but I am picky about that sort of thing.The slotted block that links the slide to the taper rail is missing. Fabricating a new one is a very easy project with a mill.Cable to carriage motor needs replacing and a tube is required to mount the spindle speed control box.The draw bar is not Hardinge. The good news. The motor may be wired for 208/220/440 3phase (I believe this is rare). All feed screws and racks are in excellent condition. All motors run, all feeds work. The Buck chuck is in very good condition and is adjustable for truing. The discoloration on the bed under the chuck is superficial. It is a solid machine. My opinion is that this lathe has spent most of it's life sitting and will be a great lathe with a little beautifying and minimal work.Serial #HLV-H 1924
