Harris 3-SIB 1/16" Silicon Bronze Tig 36" Rod - 1 Lb - AWS A5.7 ERCuSi-A   From the Harris site: Application:   This copper-silicon alloy is used to weld similar composition base metals, brass, and to weld these copper alloys to steel. Silicon bronze is also frequently used in GTAW ?brass welding" of coated sheet steels.  Preheat: Silicon bronze base metals generally do not require preheat. Brass or copper base metals may require some preheat depending on copper content and thickness. Shielding Gas: Argon Specifications: AWS A5.7 ERCuSi-A. GTAW: Use DC+ or AC current and a 2% thoriated tungsten Conforms to AWS A5.7 ERCuSi-A   Please e-mail with any questions Winner must make contact including payment arrangements within 3 days of auction end, payment must be received within 10 days of auction end.
