Hausser Scientific 3820 Howard Mold Glass Counting Chamber with Cover Slips ? Glass slide is of one piece construction 75 x 35 mm, has raised central section 15 x 20 mm which provides a cell of 0.1 mm depth when a cover glass is placed in position ? Two parallel lines 1.382 mm apart traverse one side of the raised section for adjustment of field to 1.5 mm2 circle ? AOAC method approved Product Description: The Howard Mold Glass Counting Chamber is used for counting molds in tomato products and mold mycelia in butter and cream, etc.Supplied with one Cover Glass, (5080) and one Cover Glass (5090); both are 28 x 33 mm and are 0.5 and 1.0 mm thick, respectively. The Counting Chamber is of all glass construction. In the center of the slide is a rectangle 15 x 20 mm, which is flanked by shoulders on each side 0.1mm higher. The cover glass is supported on these shoulders and leaves a depth of 0.1mm between the underside of the cover glass and the rectangle. The rectangle and the cover glass have optically plane surfaces. To facilitate calibration of the microscope, the rectangle has two engraved parallel lines spaced 1.382mm apart.
