Sanofi Aventis - Taxotere (Docetaxel) Head & Neck Cancer Anatomical Teaching Model with Reference Easel & dry-erase pen TAXOTERE in combination with cisplatin and flurorouracil is indicated for the induction treatment of patients with locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN). Description, objective, and inteded uses of the Taxotere Head & Neck model. The Head & Neck model is intended to show the anatomy and lymphatic system of the head & neck areas. It features: Translucent model reflecting sculpted lymph nodes overlaying the lymph system on one side and head & neck anatomy on the other side. The model sits in a fitted base and is held together by small magnets. The interior panels of each half of the model have a medical illustration of the anatomy and corresponding lymph nodes. The surfaces are dry-erasable, allowing for the oncology HCP to customize the couseling session with the patient, and be able to mark the location of the tumor. The dry-erase pen is clipped on the back of the model.
