EC101D Digital Photo Resist Spinner Series Refurbished Models EC101D: The EC101D spinner series offers high acceleration, high torque, electronic speed regulation, automatic cycle control, and automatic braking. The Motor Control Unit contains a full wave SCR motor drive circuitry. The unit includes a digital tachometer along with speed and timer potentiometers. The acceleration adjustment is accessible on the front panel. The digital tachometer on the front panel indicates spinner speed directly in thousands of RPM. The EC101D spinners are supplied with a dual function footswitch. The front part of the footswitch initiates the spin cycle. The rear part stops the cycle if desired. The R790 Bowl Assembly is capable of spinning up to 5" diameter substrates. The assembly consists of a rectangular box with stainless cover and a two piece stainless bowl insert and deflector ring. An angled stainless steel catch pan with drain encircles the inner bowl. The base of the inner bowl has exhaust ports on the outside edge, which direct resist into the catch pan and airflow into the exhaust system. A plastic bowl insert and deflector are included with this assembly. EC101D Features High Adjustable Acceleration - The acceleration is set at the factory at approximately 600 milliseconds to 10,000 rpm. Acceleration may be easily adjusted from 200 milliseconds to 1.2 seconds. This adjustment is accessible on the front panel. Wide Adjustable Speed Range - Standard speed is variable from approximately 50 to 10,000 rpm. Automatic Cycle Control - In the automatic mode, the footswitch initiates a complete spin cycle. Vacuum is automatically applied; spin started and timed, brakes applied at the present time, and the vacuum released. The timer resets for the next cycle. The standard timer range is 1 to 999 seconds. Automatic Dynamic Braking - The automatic dynamic braking system quickly stops the spinner at the end of the spin cycle. In the event of a vacuum failure, the dynamic brake will normally stop the spinner before the substrate can be thrown. Vacuum Interlock Protection - Adjustable vacuum interlock circuit protects the operator and the substrate. If the substrate is not properly seated or if the vacuum source is inadequate, the spinner will not operate. If the vacuum drops during a spin cycle, the machine will stop. A warning buzzer indicates vacuum difficulties when the start switch is pressed.
