This is a Heat Systems CL4 20 kHz ultrasonic converter with microtip and cable. Description: A generator unit feeds an electrical signal to piezoelectric crystals mounted in the converter. The active elements of the converter then vibrate at that same frequency. The vibration  is amplified and transferred to the distal end (tip). The CL4 converter is used on the following Misonix sonicators: XL-2015 XL-2010 W-380 W-370 W-220 Specifications: Minimum Diameter: (end of tip) 1/8 in Frequency: 20 kHz Length: (narrow portion of tip not excceding 1/2 in dia) 9 in
