HEATHKIT / BECKMAN SP-352 “PANAPLEX” [2-DIGIT] DISPLAYS These BECKMAN SP-352 Panaplex Display are NEW OLD STOCK (NOS). Each one has been individually tested and are in exceptional condition and working order. Their technical specifications refer to these units out as a “Planar neon gas discharge 'Panaplex' readout incorporating separate anodes allowing single-digit multiplexing.” These PANAPLEX display have now been out-of-production for several decades and are considered a rare find especially in this outstanding condition. They are becoming harder and harder to find. I’ve seen these units sell for as much as $59 each elsewhere. NOTE in the pictures that the metallic segments are shiny and clean with no discoloration. This indicates the highest of quality standards on these units along with integrity of their permanent neon gas seals. While not exclusively used by HEATHKIT, they were commonly used in the GC-1005, GC-1092 series and GC-1094 Digital Clocks. Heathkit also used them in many of its other products such as the ID-1590 series of Wind Speed and Direction units and the HW-104 and SB-104 series of Transceivers. The IC-2100 Electronic Slide Rule (calculator) may be another. There are probably many other uses as well. HEATHKIT part nos. used were: 411-295 and 411-265. There may be others. It is recommended that when replacing these units, like in the GC-1005 Digital Clock, that all three (3) Panaplex units are replaced together. That would be your choice. Good units can be retained and used as “spares.” Each SP-352 purchased will be secured to a styrofoam board and wrapped for protection. They will also be shipped in a cardboard box rather than a padded shipping envelope ensuring absolute safe delivery. Due to age, I cannot warranty these units. As mentioned they will be well packed and have been individually tested using my own personal GC-1005 Digital Clock. I am offering FREE SHIPPING on this item.
