This auction  is for a Heathkit IT-28 Capacitance checker, lights up, very bright seeing eye display, comes with original manual. Original knobs, and feet, filter caps were ancient and were replaced earlier today. Unit is nice and clean inside and appears to be a good wiring job. Bridge circuit seems to be working and giving expected indications as far as opening and closing cats eye, I checked  some resistors and some caps for value and the eye opened up as expected. I also checked some new and old electrolytics for leakage, the new ones tested good and the old ones tested leaky. Manual has calibration info, parts list and schematic. I did not go thru the calibration process as listed in the manual, but that is something you may want to do for yourself. The pictures at the end show the brightness of the cats eye, both in the unit and in my Triplett 3444. Good luck bidding!
