Data Professionals Providing support for legacy Heathkit products.           IG-18 Sine / Square Generator Modified       This is a Heathkit Sine - Square Wave Audio Generator.  Frequency range is 1 Hz to 100kHz.  Output   Voltage Ranges are: 0 - .003, 0 - .01, 0 - .03, 0 - .1, 0 - .3, 0 - 1, 0 - 3, and 0 - 10 Volts RMS.  Switchable internal   600 Ohm load.  dB ranges: -62 to +22 dB.  Meter accuracy is +/- 10% of full scale with proper load termination.    This IG-18 has been modified with my IG-18 THD kit (also available here on eBay).  After making the mods, the THD was measured to be as presented in the enclosed chart.        Includes a copy of the IG-18 manual (unmodified), a copy of my step-by-step instructions for making the THD mods, a schematic of the Meter Buffer Board, and a graph of THD vs. Frequency   as measured on an HP-8903B.  This unit is fully functional, extremely clean, and has the user modifications listed below:    * Pot (Rz) opened on CCW side of ribbon  * Resistor R3 changed to 56k  * Capacitor C5 changed to 100 uF  * C1 & C2 Changed to 1000 uF  * C3 changed to 470 uF  * Cx and Cy trimmed to be 10:1 ratio  * Feedback re-adjusted to almost 10V output  * Meter Buffer added                                      Here is a picture of a 'typical' meter buffer installed using a breadboard technique.                                  Here is a picture of the IG-18 Meter Mod board that I now offer as a complete kit.  (This is what is installed in this IG-18.)                                  This is the actual measured THD of this unit, over Frequency, charted on an HP8903B Audio Analyzer.
