This a working example of this multi function capacitor checker. As stated above, it is in working condition with original manual as well as a spiral bound "working" copy of the manual with an appendix of supplemental modern materials on use, calibration and mods. I routinely do this on my test and other electronic gear. Also included are test leads and original, huge fold out schematic/pictorial (not pictured). There are scratches and some staining on case. The pictures tell it all on this. The Magic Eye is fully functional and can be observed in operation in photo no. 4. This device is mostly original, except I have added an internal fuse and three wire AC cord for safety. I have also upgraded a few components to comport with later models, but no hacking or radical changes. If you work on vintage tube type equipment this is a must, especially for leakage testing, where it can apply 500 VDC momentarily. As an actual measurement instrument, this is pretty crude, however it will measure a large range of resistance and capacitance, but you will work to get the reading! The calibration procedure involves a 200k resistor and is shown in picture no. 1. I am selling this as part of my efforts to end my relationship with older, tube type equipment.
