Take a look at this nice HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRAIL STRENGTH KENMORE Sewing Machine Model 158-1755 STRAIGHT & ZIG-ZAG W/4 built-in stitchs Twin needle Made of All METAL GEARS with a Strong 1.0 amp Motor Made in Japan in 1975 IN VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION You can sew Leather, Jeans, Quilt, Tents, Vinyl, Sailboat Cover, Auto Upholstery, Silk, Horse Blankets, and more !!!! Up for auction is a nice used all metal, heavy duty Kenmore Sewing Machine made in 1975 in very good working condition. This machine is use, but is great for general sewing of all kinds. This machine has been completely serviced, checked and cleaned. It's in excellent working condition. This sewing machine was tested on 2 layers of 5 oz leather, 6 layers of heavy denim, 6 layer of canvas and worked great. Using standard 15x1, sizes #18 needle. This sewing machine uses needle sizes from 9 to 22, you can buy at any fabric store or Walmart. All tests were made using a #18 needle and Coats .T26 upholstery thread is equivalent to commercial #69 nylon thread. This heavy duty sewing machine is straight stitch, with a oscillating hook (semi-rotating hook).
