It has a combination lock on the front (combination 000 ) , that works well . I would think there is some way to change the combination , but I don't know how to do it . This is a great piece to keep all the diamonds your husband lavishes on you , so you can keep them out of reach from your staff of servants . while you are at the tanning salon everyday . Even if you are the servant of the house , this will keep things locked away safely. Condition is fine with no damage . The shipping ( 5 lb. ) cost on this , to any of the 50 U.S. States is $6.85 , via Insured Priority Mail .
