The total height of the stand is approximately 27.5 inches, while the diameter of the vertical stand pipe is approximately 1 inch. The maximum height of the bottom of drive collet of the stirrer is approximately 20.5 inches. The total weight of the unit, including the stand, is around 20 pounds. The Heidolph Brinkmann Laboratory Stirrer Model RZR-2050 is a high-quality German-made stirrer that comes with a heavy-gauge stand and a powerful motor. Its finely detailed motor controller is capable of providing a rotational speed of 40-2000 rpm with a speed control accuracy of +/- 3%. This laboratory stirrer was purchased from a biotech company in the San Francisco area that shut down due to lack of funding. It appears to have been well-maintained and is missing only the chuck key, which can be easily sourced. The stirrer also comes with a strain-relieved power cord that is 5+ feet long and features a grounded plug. The controller face of the stirrer comes with a splashproof cover that is easy to remove for cleaning purposes, as shown in the pictures.
