Brand new in the box  Urine Albumin 201 The HemoCue® Albumin 201 System provides quantitative determination of albumin in urine. The System can be used for the purpose of screening, monitoring and supporting the clinical evidence in the diagnosis and treatment of microalbuminuria. The HemoCue® Albumin Systems can be used for the quantitative determination of low levels of albumin in urine for the purpose of screening for, diagnosing, monitoring and supporting the clinical evidence in the treatment of microalbuminuria. The system consists of an analyzer and individually packaged microcuvettes. The reaction in the cuvette is based on an immunoturbidimetric reaction. The turbidity once formed is measured photometrically at 610 nm. With three simple steps a quantitative result is achieved within 90 seconds! Why to choose HemoCue® Albumin 201 System: Excellent precision and accuracy Quantitative results within 90 seconds Factory calibrated analyzer Measurement range 7–150 mg/L without dilution Minimal maintenance The analysis can be performed with spot urine, preferably first morning urine, as well as urine collected overnight or during 24 hours Can be used by non-laboratory personnel after a brief training session View Downloads: Albumin 201 Product Profile Albumin 201 Quick Tip Guide HemoCue® Albumin 201 System Specifications: Sample material: Urine. The analysis can be performed with spot urine, preferably first morning urine, as well as urine collected overnight or during 24 hours. Measurement range: 7-150 mg/L. Results:I Approx. 90 seconds. Sample volume: 18 µL. Weight: 350 g (0.77 pounds). Power: AC Adapter. Operating temperature: 15-30 °C (59-86 °F). Interface: Printer and PC. Quality control: Built-in "selftest" and liquid controls. Calibration: The analyzer is factory calibrated against a turbidimetric method traceable to CRM 470 and needs no further calibration. Storage for HemoCue® Albumin 201 Analyzer: The analyzer can be stored at temperature 0-50 °C (32-122 °F). Storage for individual packaged HemoCue® Urine Albumin Microcuvettes: Store HemoCue® Urine Albumin Microcuvettes in a refrigerator at 2-8 °C (35-46 °F). Do not store the microcuvettes in the freezer. Allowed to reach room temperature before use. The individually packaged cuvettes can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days. Method: A specific rabbit anti-human albumin antibody (polyclonal) forms an agglutinate with human albumin in the sample. The agglutination is enhanced by polymers. The turbidity of the agglutinates, once formed, is measured photometrically at 610 nm.1 Principle: When the immunochemical reaction is completed the turbidity is measured photometrically at 610 nm. The albumin concentration is proportional to the turbidity and the result is shown on the display in mg/L.     1.
