The Cytomat Microplate Hotel is an automated storage system for microplates or microplate sized boxes under ambient conditions. It supports a capacity of 189 shallow well plates with 9 stackers on a carousel. The design of the system is easy to integrate and access, and offers a wide range of options suitable for most laboratory environments. The specially designed Plate Shuttle System can handle all standard microplate formats, including deep-well, and can be easily accessed from the front. Simple software protocol allows straight-forward and flexible programming, increasing operational reliability. he Thermo Scientific Cytomat 6000 provides extremely uniform and stable temperature, humidity and CO2 conditions, setting the standard in automated incubation. This incubated microplate stacker offers a temperature range 50degC with a humidity level of up to 95% rH and storage for 189 standard microplates. A specially designed internal water reservoir creates this stable, high level of humidity, and ventilated stackers minimize evaporation. A single point of integration creates an extremely robot-friendly design, as the robot only needs to be taught one position for plate retrieval.The small access door and Thermo Scientific Plate Shuttle system allow microplates to enter and exit the unit in seconds, significantly minimizing disruption to the controlled environment and virtually eliminating recovery times. Loading and unloading results in less than 0.5degC fluctuation, and the atmosphere inside the Cytomat 6000 regenerates rapidly, regardless of the number of plates being retrieved. The Plate Shuttle system and access door can handle all standard microplate formats including deep-well plates. A built in barcode reader can scan barcodes at any plate position inside the Cytomat 6000 minimizes plate movement and provides superior sample and plate tracking.
