The 9600 boasts an impressive array of specifications. These include ANSI 250.13-2003 Severe Windstorm listing, Florida Building Code Approval (FL#14307), UL 1034 burglary-resistant listing, UL 294 (6th Edition) listing, as well as being ANSI/BHMA, A156.31 Grade 1 (#E09731, #E09732, #E09373), RoHS compliant, and having Patent # 6,390,520. This electric strike can be installed in both metal and wood frames, and has a static strength of 2,000 lbs., a dynamic strength of 120 ft-lbs., and can endure up to 1,000,000 cycles. Its base and cover can be adjusted separately for easy installation, and it also has a horizontal adjustment feature. It's non-handed, PoE friendly, and features an internally mounted solenoid. Additionally, it can accommodate up to 3/4" Pullman latch. The 9600 Series electric strike is a surface mounted solution that is specifically designed to handle the most severe winds. With a 3/4" throw latchbolt, this highly durable strike accommodates rim exit devices, and its 3/4" stainless steel housing completely encases all of its components, eliminating the need for any cutting on the frame during installation. Overall, the 9600 Series electric strike is an incredibly strong, durable, and reliable solution for facilities that are at risk of severe winds. The 9600 is incredibly versatile, and can easily be selected for either fail secure or fail safe operation, as well as for 12 or 24VDC usage. Its strength exceeds ANSI Windstorm testing requirements, making it unique among surface mounted electric strikes.
