Hewlett Packard 78532B Patient Monitor/Terminal This patient monitor has a CRT 7.5" wide by 5.5" tall. Along the bottom are six variable-function buttons, a "clear" button, a "test" button, alarm suspend and silence/reset buttons, and alarm indicator lights. To the side are three control knobs labelled alarm vol, QRS vol and bright. There are also three groups of controls, one labelled ECG and two identical ones labelled pressure. Each group has buttons labelled "set limits", "alarms on", "size" and "setup". The ECG group has buttons labelled "1 mV cal" and "lead select", and the pressure vgroups have buttons labelled "zero". The ECG grouyp has a round female 8-pin connector and a one-pin headphone-style connector labelled "ECG output/defib". The pressure groups each have a round 12-pin female connector and a one-pin headphone-style connector labelled "pressure output". A set of instruction cards labelled "cal/alarms", "cardiac output" and "messages" is mounted on the underside of the unit. On the back of the unit is a pair of round five-pin female connectors labelled "SDN/SCM", a card connector labelled "780" covered by a plastic cover, a 15-pin female D connector labelled with an image of a handheld control panel, and a power connector (cord is included). How the unit was tested: When plugged in and turned on the unit's indicator lights and CRT light up.
