The 8566B is known for its for accuracy, sweep speed and noise performance, especially compared with the modern, much smaller spectrum analyzers. This spectrum analyzer has been minimally tested for power-up only as we are without the proper equipment and expertise to fully test and calibrate. We believe that this unit was functioning properly prior to being phased out to make room for new upgrades The manual is easy to find for free. -Just google 8566a manual and it should come right up.
