The HP-55 was the first programmable calculator from Hewlett-Packard about 1975.  It had only volatile memory so when the power was turned off, the program and register memories were lost.  It also featured a timing mode with 0.01-second resolution.  This item includes the original light-green case and AC power supply. This unit is offered as-is.  The original battery is missing and the case has been opened (see photos).  The unit does power on with the AC supply.  Segments are out in a couple of the LED displays.  The keyboard does not work consistently and the unit jumps between calculator and programming modes randomly. The winning bidder will pay shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
