Used Hewlett Packard Model #HP 83592C (Low Harmonics Version) RF Plug-in with 10 MHz to 20GHz frequency range for use with an Hewlett Packard 8350B Mainframe (Not Included). This Item is serial Number 2412A00197. Description: The HP 83592C RF plug-in provides a 10 MHz to 20 GHz broadband coaxial swept frequency source for the HP 8350A or HP 8350B sweep oscillator mainframe (NOT INCLUDED). Applications include scalar network analysis, serving as a local oscillator for down-converting high frequency. This HP83592C RF Plug-in appears to operate in the 0.01 to 20GHz frequency range, the level is pretty flat from 10MHz to about 12GHz but has large level variations after that (in the approximately 13 to 20GHz frequency range) please see the 3 screen shots that show RF sweeps from 10MHz to 2.9GHz, 2.9GHz to 11GHz, and 11 to 20GHz. The spectrum Analyzer was placed in “Max Hold” to capture these traces. The spectrum analyzer, HP8350B Sweeper Mainframe, and RF cable / adapter shown in the pictures are NOT INCLUDED in this auction. Due to the fact that band 4 (13.5 – 20GHz frequency range) has large level variations, etc.; the unit REQUIRES REPAIRS so we are selling this HP83592C RF Plug-in for PARTS or REPAIRS per eBay protocol. The item is in good overall physical condition, fair to good cosmetic condition (front Panel). The rear output connector’s type ”N” 50-Ohm termination IS INCLUDED. It was constructed of the finest microwave components available at the time of manufacture and was a very expensive piece of equipment. This item is used and is sold strictly AS-IS. This item has been carefully packaged in a sturdy box measuring about 29” L X 13” W X 11” H and the packaged weigh is 22 pounds. There is a $7.00 packaging charge for the packaging materials used.
