Hi-Tech Hoist Portable Cable Hoist with Scaffold Monorail Mount. This can be setup to run on I-beams and has many accessories for different jobs. A lot of masons use this style to hoist to lift block and mortar with the scaffold mount. Or this can be setup to run on I Beams in a shop or with portable I beams.This setup would cost over $6,000 new and is made in the USA. The scaffold mount is over $1,000 alone. the PR-2000 is rated for 2,000 lbs, the Scaffold Mount is rated for 1,000 lbs. These hoists are made to last in tough environments. Compare this hoist to Beta Hoists. Save thousands instead of buying a new construction hoist. The hoist works great and the motor brake engages as soon as you let off a control button. It has scratches as you can see in the pictures. The cable guide is a little tweaked which causes the down safety switch to not engage when the hoist is fully retracted. A little tweaking of the guide, adding a shim to engage the switch, pushing it in by hand, or disconnecting the switch will fix the problem. The cable is not in perfect shape, I would consider it good enough for around a shop, but if it was going back on a jobsite I would simply put some new cable on it. The hoist has 100' of control cable so you can get pretty high with your scaffold. It is wired for single phase 208v and I believe it can be rewired for 120v. Simply hook a up decent extension cord and your good to go. I ran it off a generator and it performed great. It comes with a decent wood storage box. The hoist itself weighs over 200lbs this is not a small hoist. The scaffold mount I would estimate over 100lbs. I can put this on a standard pallet, load it on a truck, or drop it off at a shipping terminal in South Bend for free. I will crate it but it will be an additional cost.
