It's electronics package which converts 12vdc to high-voltage pulses is safely isolated behind a tough industrial-grade UV-light-stabilized rain-tolerant plastic enclosure. Speaker-brand Model 537 Xenon-high-voltage-discharge Strobe Light May be powered by 12 VDC or 24 VDC commercial vehicle electrical systems equally well. In fact if you attach it to a multi-battery forklift, it is designed to be powered by "12-80V DC."
