NEW reader, never installed. The Classic Swipe Reader is a small self-contained reader unit for use in applications such as access control systems and shop floor data collection systems. Designed to "read" the binary encoded pattern of Wiegand wires embedded in the SensorCard and SensorCard II access cards, the reader will produce a corresponding logic level pulse train at its outputs as the card is passed through the slot. The molded plastic body of the Classic Swipe Reader mounts on any flat vertical surface and is secured with two #10 fasteners. Once mounted, the reader front is covered by applying the pressure sensitive dress panel or label.   The reader contains a digitally buffered circuit in which the bi-polar readhead signal is separated into descrete 1's and 0's data outputs. The readead and circuitry are fully encapsulated providing tamper and environmental security.   Circuit power required is a +5-12 VDC regulated source.
