Masking Products high temperature masking tapes are designed for electronic manufacturing and are primarily used during the solder wave process. They are also known as wave solder tapes. High temperature masking tapes are constructed with a smoother crepe backing and provide for a finer paint edge with superior color separation. It is constructed with 7.7 mil crepe paper with rubber adhesive. These tapes have a special release coat that eliminates paint and primer flaking problems, resists solvent penetration and provides for a controlled unwind. The priming of the tape backing eliminates adhesive deposition during removal. They are made of 7.7 mil crepe paper and can withstand temperature up to 325 degree F/163 degree C. These wave solder tapes are packaged in a 3" core and are 60 yds long. Applicable for anodizing, high temperature masking tapes, electronic assembly, general purpose masking, masking electronic components, powder coating, plating, photo splicing, masking of metal, plastic and rubber surfaces where staining is a problem. Offers fine line definition without bleeding. Offers clean removal without adhesive residue. Thickness: 7.7 Mil. Temperature rating: 325 degree F (163 degree C). Adhesion to steel: 28 oz/in. Tensile strength: 26 lbs/inch. Elongation: 10 percent. RoHS Compliant.
