This is high voltage corona resistant silver plated copper wire with teflon insulation. This is specifically designed to retard and prevent corona penetration. High voltage wire with teflon insulation is not thick and bulky as high voltage wire with silicone rubber or polyethylene. This wire is 20 AWG stranded with 19 strands. It is made by Gore. This is the mil. spec version of Gore F01B080. The mil. spec numbers are QQ-W-343 and Mil-W-16878. The voltage rating is 6000 volts AC 13000 volts DC. The conductor diameter is 0.040 inch. The Insulation wall diameter is 0.030 inch. The outside diameter is 0.100 inch. The temp rating is 200C. This is very high quality wire and the best high voltage wire available. This is a 25 foot length of wire. If you buy more than one I will ship it as a continuous length.
