Up for your consideration is Qty 1 Vintage Hi Current Hi Voltage NOS Phase Control Power Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCR), also known as Thyristors. There are four (4) identical NOS SCR's available. These have been tested to ensure the gate triggering function is working. These SCR’s are very similar to the SCR’s known to be used in a Motorola S1303A Power Supply (0 to 18 V, 0 to 40 A) circa 1975. (See pictures). Considering this known application and the minimum specs per the references below, this application represents a very conservative application. Specific data sheets have not been located for these SCR’s. However, the TO83 package provides some general information which will allow the use of these in conservative current and voltage applications, i.e., well within the ratings of TO83 devices.
