As this is a PoE (power over ethernet) IP camera, it does not come with an external power supply as it is designed to be used over a network in conjuction with a PoE router/switch/NVR. This camera can be used as a standalone on a network if you have a compatible power supply (12V DC, 1A) , however it is recommended to be used alongside a PoE NVR (Network video recorder) which we have also listed in our eBay Shop. If you are using a third party NVR, please ensure it is PoE and can supply sufficient power, or you're using a sufficiently rated PoE switch/router. iPhone as well as Android apps are available for remote monitoring, these apps will only allow you to view live video if you are not using an NVR.
