The Hilti PM 2-L laser level is a reliable and practical tool for construction professionals and DIY enthusiasts who require precision laser leveling and alignment in various applications. The Hilti PM 2-L laser level comes with a three-piece bracket set, which includes an L-type magnetic bracket, a front clip, and a clip for horizontal alignment. The laser level emits both horizontal and vertical laser lines with a wide fan angle, covering the entire working area. The rubber-coated housing and pendulum lock enhance the overall robustness of the instrument. Users have the option to switch between independent or simultaneous laser lines for different alignment applications, such as transferring reference heights and leveling suspended ceilings, electric sockets, cable trays, radiators, and pipe installations. The instrument is also suitable for aligning doors and windows and vertical alignment of pipes. Technical data for the Hilti PM 2-L includes dimensions of 107 x 65 x 95 mm, laser functionality for leveling and alignment, an accuracy of В±3 mm at 10 m, a width of 65 mm, a weight of 430 g with batteries, and a battery requirement of 4 x 1.5 V (AA). The instrument operates for up to 20 hours using alkaline batteries. The laser emission is less than 1 mW, 635 nm, class 2 (IEC 60825-1: 2008), and Class II (CFR 21 art. 1040), with a laser line width of less than 2.2 mm at a 5m distance. The IP protection class is IP 54, and the operating temperature range is 10 - 50 В°C.
