For Sale: 5 Gallon AerVoid Thermal Liquid Carrier Product Details: Capacity: 5 gallons Model # 801 The story: This thermal liquid carrier was used at the battle of Chosen Resevoir in Korea to carry coffee through the battlefield to the frontline troops. A harsh 17 day battle ensued with 30,000 US troops surrounded by 67,000 Chinese troops, with the UN forces breaking through the Chinese lines to the sea and evacuating. It's no wonder that there are some bumps on the thing, it's been to North Korea! It all happened in freezing, deep and bloody snow. This thermal carrier was there to keep the troops up and fighting for their lives by bringing them warm coffee. It's safe to say that this little thermal carrier has been to hell and back.
