I AM GUESSING YOU WILL WANT TO REPLACE THE TIMER OR JUST USE A DIFFERENT TIMER. YOU CAN PROBABLY REPLACE THE TIMER EASILY BY CALLING THE HIX COMPANY. IT GETS NICE AND HOT AND WORKS GREAT. IT HAS A FOAM PAD ON THE UNIT. WHEN WE BOUGHT IT HAD A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT LAYERS OF FOAM ON TOP OF IT. WE TOOK THEM OFF TO SEE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE INSIDE. IT COMES WITH A RAG THAT SITS ON TOP OF THERE SO YOU CAN DO YOUR WORK.
