The HMS Victory model has been painted in the authentic colors of the actual tall ship that is resting in Portsmouth, England. The H.M.S. VICTORY was launched on 7th May 1765. The Victory's fame was due to the fact that as dawn drew near on October 21, 1805, under the British flag, she took part in the momentous Battle of Trafalgar (where Horatio Nelson flew his famous signal "England expects that every man will do his duty") against Spain and completely defeated the Franco-Spanish fleet with her powerful cannons that can fire half a ton of iron shot more than a mile.
