You are bidding on a Hobart Model 1712 automatic meat slicer. This slicer features a 12” diameter blade and can run in either automatic or manual mode. There are also 2 speeds in auto. It is easy to adjust the thickness of the slice too from very thin to very thick, HOWEVER, the knob on my machine is not turning and so I CANNOT adjust the thickness. It is currently set to what looks like the thickest slice you can make and unfortunately, I cannot get the knob to turn and reduce this. Perhaps this is an easy fix… Blade is in overall good shape and sharp. This slicer is used and shows expected marks from normal use and age, but it looks good overall. Slicer is in working condition and runs quietly. Both auto speeds also work. Please note that the sharpener is NOT included, but you can usually find these available on Ebay. Model 1712 1/3 HP 115 Volts (plugs into a standard household outlet) 6.2 Amps 1 Phase 1725 RPM NSF and UL rated for commercial use Slicer weighs approximately 150 pounds and is too heavy to be shipped safely with UPS, so it will be shipped on a pallet with a freight company. Please do not accept a delivery on an item that appears to be damaged, as we will have no recourse once you sign off that you have accepted the package as it is.
