This fits the Hobart AM 12 or 14 dishwasher. Although the machine is not built with one of these, it is an accessory that you can't live without. Model 12's and 14's have ONLY an OPEN shroud to protect the pump inlet from sucking stuff into the pump impeller. Once something slips past the scrap screens, they fall into the bottom of the tank, where they easily get sucked into the pump. If you've ever had a utensil get sucked into the pump, you know that it will bind the impeller and put the machine out of service. Worst case scenario, the motor burns out. This was designed to slip down over the existing shroud, and provide a screen to STOP foreign objects from going into the pump intake. Simple, effective. It's made out of sturdy stainless steel, and has a handle so you can easily slip it in and out for cleaning. FREE Shipping, lower 48.
