HOBART Vertical Chopper/Cutter/Mixer MODEL: HCM-300 200 Volts, 3 Phase 5 HP MOTOR not the 3 HP motor that is in most of these -- This thing will chop through just about anything! INCLUDES: Safety stop button on top of the lid arm for emergency stop Counterbalanced Clear LEXAN Polycarbonate Bowl COVER Shows some wear which is normal for these clear covers, but is structurally sound and sturdy! Stainless Steel scraper with handle that you control from the top of the lid allowing whatever you are mixing to be pulled in to the sharp blades as they are cutting Start and STOP button along with JOG and RUN buttons. JOG BUTTON allows you to pulse cut or mix RUN BUTTON allows you to keep the unit running continuously until you hit the stop button, open the lid. 5 HP Motor -- this is the cadillac of motors and this one is no exception with no waddle in the shaft area. On EBAY saw another guy listing his HCM300 and had a video of it working and stated it was like new and had barely any use and was from a school etc . . . , however, while watching the blade turn I noticed that his shaft on HIS HCM was wabbling -- this indicates it has a bad bearing in the upper or lower part of the motor! This HCM-300 that you are bidding on does not have any of that type of problem and in fact runs great! TILT and HOLD -- This feature allows you to use the Handle in the down POSITION to TILT the mixer THEN put the handle in the UP position or "HOLD" position to hold the mixer in the TILT position while dumping out the contents. When you are ready to put it back in it's upright position just slide the handle down (TILT) and voila! The mixer goes in it's upright position! BLADE is a stainless steel super sharp S shaped blade made by HOBART to cut through meat, tendon, fish bones, veggies, etc.. MOTOR runs great and is smooth and quiet! ALL OF THE Features -- RUN, JOG, STOP BUTTON, and safety when lid is opened are all working Pictures are of the exact unit and not "one like you will be getting" that is on so many of the EBAY ads. This unit is fantastic and you will not be disappointed! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 3 PHASE POWER or a converter that will work with a 5 HP MOTOR like is on this machine!
